Applied Analysis in Constitutional Law for 2L Students

One-hour workshops are held weekly to assist 2L students in developing the specific skills required for legal analysis and writing in the context of Constitutional Law. Each session deals with a discrete topic from the Con Law I curriculum using hypotheticals from that area.

The focus is on guiding students through identification of the issue(s), articulating the legal rule or standard that governs that issue, and applying the facts of the hypothetical to the rule of law. Students are strongly encouraged to submit written answers to the hypotheticals distributed during class. Those students who do submit essays are provided with individualized feedback on their analyses.
