Distinguished Visitors

Touro Law continually attracts a wide range of accomplished professionals who share their knowledge and insights with students. One of the many ways this occurs is through the Law Center's Distinguished Visitor Programs, which include:

Distinguished Jurist in Residence – For more than two decades, this program has drawn the world's leading jurists to the Law Center. The program features a public lecture, luncheons and informal meetings, classroom lectures, and a private reception for students, faculty and invited guests.

Distinguished Public Interest Lawyer in Residence – This program recognizes attorneys who have made significant contributions to society by representation of individuals or groups historically denied access to justice. The program features a public lecture, luncheons and informal meetings, classroom lectures and receptions with students, faculty and invited guests.

The Bruce K. Gould Book Award – This award, named for its benefactor, former principal of a leading law book publisher and Touro Law Center graduate, is presented annually to the author of an outstanding publication related to the law, the legal profession, or the legal system.
