Biography
The Hon. Robert Grossman has been a judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York since 2008. He was previously a partner in the New York office of Duane Morris LLP, one of the 100 largest law firms in the world, a full-service firm employing more than 650 lawyers worldwide. There practiced in the area of corporate law, business reorganization and litigation. He began his legal career at the Securities & Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. Before joining Duane Morris, Judge Grossman was chair of the restructuring practice group at Arent Fox. A graduate of Rider University, he earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
