Biography
Jerald S. Carter is a Nassau County Court Judge, currently serving as an acting Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, in Nassau County, NY. He previously served as a Nassau County District Court Judge and as a Hempstead Village Justice. Before his appointment to the bench, he was a Nassau County Assistant District Attorney, and was in private practice as a litigator, labor negotiator, and sports agent. He is a cum laude graduate of Fisk University in Nashville, TN, and received his J.D. from Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC.
