Biography
Admitted to the bars of New York and the District of Columbia. Professor Abramson has been active in the field of dispute resolution for over sixteen years. His domestic and international activities include mediating, facilitating, and arbitrating business and public policy disputes and conducting training programs. Professor Abramson is a member of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee of the New York State Bar Association, the Association of Conflict Resolution, and the American Bar Association Section on Dispute Resolution; he also serves on several distinguished neutral panels. He founded Touro’s summer program at Moscow State University in 1992, and served as an ABA Central and East European Law Initiative specialist in Russia. Professor Abramson, who served as vice dean for nine years, publishes and teaches in the areas of mediation, mediation representation, and international dispute resolution. He also teaches courses on sales, remedies, and international business and trade.
