Biography
Stephen J. Ukeiley has been a Judge of the Suffolk County District Court since 2009. After graduating from law school, he clerked for the Hon. E. Thomas Boyle, US Magistrate Judge, Eastern District of New York, then was an attorney with the leading Long Island firm Jaspan, Schlesinger LLP. He is an officer of the Suffolk County Academy of Law, the continuing legal education arm of the Suffolk County Bar Association, has been an adjunct professor at the New York Institute of Technology since 1997, and is the author of The Bench Guide to Landlord Tenant Disputes in New York (2011). He received his B.A, from Rutgers and his JD from Hofstra University School of Law.
