The Touro Libraries Catalog, based on a system developed by Innovative Interfaces, features on-screen directions to enable use with little, if any, instruction. The catalog is searchable by author, title, subject, keyword, and classification number. Periodical entries indicate the library's holdings and feature a check-in record that shows the most recently received issue. In addition, the browse feature permits scanning of titles shelved near the requested item, allowing the user to choose from a variety of titles if desired. The catalog is shared with other Touro Libraries; to confine a search to materials available at the Law Center, restrict the search to Law School.

A computer in the Main Reading Room of the library is connected to the telnet version of the catalog. The catalogs of several other libraries can be accessed through this version. Separately published guides to the Touro Libraries Catalog are available in the Library Lounge and in the Publications section of the library web site.
