The diversity of Touro's student population offers unparalleled richness. The approximately 650 students represent over 200 colleges and universities. Approximately 50 percent are women, and more than 25 percent are people of color. While the majority of students enter within six years of completing their undergraduate studies, a growing number have spent considerable time working in various fields. For some, law school represents the first step towards changing careers; for others, it is a way to bring new depth and dimension to an existing specialty.
Over 30 student organizations are currently active on campus. Dedicated to a wide range of social, political, professional, and advocacy activities, these organizations provide unlimited opportunities to establish new friendships, to share interests and views, and to explore new pursuits.
