| Long Island University's C.W. Post School of Business, Public Administration, and Accountancy offers a Master of Science (M.S.) in Taxation to educate students in the principles of taxation and accountancy. For those who continue on to Touro's Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, the professional expertise acquired carries the additional benefit of educational savings in cost and time.
Students in the M.S. in Taxation are afforded advanced standing in the J.D. program at Touro Law Center. Based on twelve earned credits in the School of Professional Accountancy's M.S. degree (applying a three-fourths computation), J.D. candidates may receive up to nine transfer credits, reducing their credit requirements for the J.D. to 79 (88 J.D. credits - 9 M.S. credits).
