Admissions & Credits
AdmissionsAdmission is open to any law student in good academic standing
who has completed the first year of full-time or part-time study.
Admission is also available to attorneys on a space-available basis to audit
classes or take classes for CLE credit.
Accreditation and Transfer of Credit
Each law school has discretion whether to accept the transfer of
summer credits. Most schools do so, but conditions vary, so each student should
check the policy of his or her school. If questions about the nature of Touro’s
China program arise, students should feel free to contact Touro for additional
information.
An applicant who wishes to use summer credits to accelerate graduation should
check carefully to determine whether this program will meet his or her school’s
residency requirements. It is unlikely that credits in a foreign summer program
can be used to accelerate graduation.
Touro Law Center reserves the right to modify or cancel the program for
reasonable cause including but not limited to insufficient enrollment, severe
political instability, or any serious condition that may threaten the safety of
the students. If the program is cancelled, any money paid by applicants to Touro
will be fully refunded except for room and board and transportation payments utilized prior to the
date of cancellation, plus unrefundable portions of tour packages. |
