EXCURSIONS AND EXTRA- CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The program will start with a two-day orientation in Agra. Indian
history and culture will come alive as we tour such sites as the Taj Mahal and
the Agra Fort.
We will then travel to Delhi where the group will enjoy a private tour of the
Indian Parliament.
During our stay in Shimla, the group will meet with a variety of dignitaries,
including government officials and High Court judges. Other extracurricular
activities may include lessons in Hindi, Indian music, and yoga.
On weekends, optional excursions are available within the Himalayas, with
opportunities to explore palaces and ancient temples and enjoy spectacular
scenery. Trekking and white water rafting are available for the truly
adventurous.
The group will spend eleven days in Dharamsala, the seat of the Tibetan
Government- in-Exile, where we will enjoy cultural events designed to enhance
our understanding and appreciation of Tibetan law, religion and society.

Law Center reserves the right to modify or cancel the
program for reasonable cause, including but not limited to insufficient
enrollment, severe political instability, or any serious conditions that may
threaten the safety of the students. If the program is cancelled, any money
paid by applicants to Touro will be fully refunded except for room and board
and transportation payments utilized prior to the date of cancellation.
