Touro Law Center is delighted to introduce its first-ever summer program in Israel, at the Mt. Scopus campus of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. The program is approved by the ABA. Courses will be taught by faculty from Touro Law as well as Creighton University School of Law, along with a distinguished former Justice from the Federal Court of Australia. For four weeks, students will live in the crossroads of several of the world’s major civilizations and religions. The program will offer a choice of courses for up to 6 credits including International Human Rights, the Law of International Organizations, Jewish Law, International Criminal Law, and Jurisprudence of the Law of Religious Conviction. Required and optional trips will introduce students to both modern Israel and its ancient roots, and a variety of programs will highlight Israel’s political and religious significance. I look forward to having you join us in Jerusalem.

Sincerely,

Jonathan I. Ezor, Director

The application deadline for Israel is April 4, 2008. Please note that late applications will be considered, and qualified applicants would be admitted on a space-available basis. Please contact Kate Anderson, Summer Abroad Programs Coordinator, at 631-761-7055, or kanderson@tourolaw.edu.
