More than fifty percent of all entering students receive scholarships, ranging from five percent to one hundred percent tuition remission. There is no separate scholarship application process. Eligibility criteria vary according to each year's applicant pool, but all applicants receive automatic consideration for these awards.

Dean's Fellowships
A limited number of full tuition scholarships are awarded to students with proven scholastic achievement and potential for leadership within the legal profession. Dean's Fellowships are awarded in both the full-time and part-time divisions.

In addition to the full tuition remission, Dean's Fellows participate in an enrichment process, including meetings with senior Law Center administrators, colloquia with faculty, and invitations to, among others, the Distinguished Jurist in Residence, Distinguished Public Interest Lawyer in Residence, and Bruce K. Gould Book Award programs. After the first year, Dean's Fellows may be involved in faculty research projects and other opportunities designed to enhance their educational experience.
Due to competition for these awards, qualified applicants are advised to apply by May 1.

Merit Scholarships
Each year, a number of Merit Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate substantial promise based upon their undergraduate record and performance on the LSAT. These scholarships afford a range of tuition reductions from five to seventy-five percent.

Incentive Awards
Incentive Awards are offered to a select group of students in each year's entering class, whose life experience adds to the broadly defined concept of diversity. Awards are designed to recognize academic potential and to encourage success by helping offset the cost of attendance.

Endowed Scholarships
The Law Center offers a number of endowed scholarships.
