Touro Law Center Adds New Director of Admissions
Touro Law Center in Huntington has named Claire O' Keefe its new
Director of Admissions. A 1994 graduate of the law school, she
will use her experience as a former student and extensive legal
network to help recruit students and advise them toward
fulfilling legal careers.

Since 1995, O'Keefe has served as an assistant attorney general
for the New York State Department of Law in the Labor Bureau,
where she represented the State and the New York State Workers'
Compensation Board. She has had cases in both state and federal
courts and has been heavily involved in appellate practice.
One of just a handful of law schools
nationwide with a pro-bono service requirement for its
graduates, Touro Law School welcomed a record-setting entering
class this year. Selectivity and test scores for the 24-year-old
Huntington institution are at all-time high. Touro is currently
undertaking a bold, multi-million-dollar strategic plan that
includes a cutting-edge new curriculum and a move to a new home
in Central Islip by fall 2006, adjacent to and working with
state and federal courts. This modern “law campus” will be the
first of its kind anywhere and a national model.

School’s full- and part-time academic programs, call (631)
