New York attorneys admitted less than twenty-four (24) months, are required to complete thirty-two (32) credit hours during the first two (2) years after admission as follows: three (3) credit hours per year in ethics for a total of six (6), six (6) credit hours per year in skills for a total of twelve (12), and seven (7) credit hours per year in practice management and/or professional practice for a total of fourteen (14). With a very limited exception for certain satellite transmissions of live programs, newly admitted attorneys MUST obtain their credits by attending live presentations specifically approved for transitional credits.
