New York attorneys in practice beyond the first two years after admission to the New York bar must earn twenty-four (24) credit hours per two-year biennial registration cycle with at least four (4) of these credit hours in the area of ethics and professionalism. Up to six (6) credit hours over and above the requisite number of hours may be carried over from one registration cycle to the next. Veteran attorneys may obtain their CLE credits in "alternative" or non-live formats, such as audiotapes, videotapes, online learning and other, similar formats. Touro Law Center is an accredited provider of CLE in audiotape and videotape formats.
