Scenes From Sunday's Opening Ceremony!

Opening night included the return of Whitney R. Harris to
Courtroom 600, where nearly 60 years ago he prosecuted Nazis for
"crimes against humanity." A standing-room-only crowd and
worldwide media including the Associated Press Television
Network and Reuters Television, were awed not only by Harris's
keynote address in the historic courtroom, but also by a host of
other scholars and experts from the era along with many German
dignitaries. A guided bus tour of Nuremberg showed some
participants a city they hadn't revisited since the end of the
War. |
