Scenes From Monday and Tuesday
Days 2-3 in Nuremberg brought the Trials into the
modern context, as war-crime justice and Israel and America's
non-role in the ICC were debated. Top judges participated,
including Greg James of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and
Former Prosecutor of the Australian War Crimes Trials; Judge
Hans-Peter Kaul, President of the Pre-Trial Chamber at the ICC,
The Hague; and Justice Gabriel Bach, of the Supreme Court of
Israel and Former Assistant Prosecutor at the Eichmann Trial.
The group also visited the Nazi Party Documentation Centre and
Rally Grounds -- a once imposing stadium designed to instill
fear into anyone who didn't follow the Nazi way.
