OVERPAYMENT/LOANS REFUNDS

Any student in overpayment will receive a refund of funds due them. Refunds are issued following Federal and State guidelines once satisfactory attendance and academic progress are verified. All notifications are done via e-mail so it is important to check your Touro e-mail address.

WITHDRAWAL REFUNDS

Students who officially withdraw or are granted a leave of absence after registration but prior to the first day of the semester are entitled to receive 100% of tuition paid for that semester. Students wishing to withdraw from the Law Center must contact the Office of the Registrar. On approved applications, the following tuition refund schedule will apply.

Before the beginning of the classes:	100% of tuition
During the first week of classes:	90% of tuition
During the second week of classes:	75% of tuition
During the third week of classes:	50% of tuition
During the fourth week of classes:	25% of tuition
After the fourth week of classes:	NO Refund

LEAVE OF ABSENCE REFUNDS

Refunds will usually be disbursed 2 – 3 weeks from the date the Bursar’s Office receives notification of the approved withdrawal or leave of absence from the Dean of Student Affairs. Official notification must be received in the Bursar’s Office before processing can begin.

SEAT DEPOSITS AND STUDENT ACTIVITY FEE

Seat Deposits and Student Activity are non-refundable in the event that you do not enroll at Touro Law Center.
