The Touro Law Center Board of Governors is a group of distinguished men and women dedicated to supporting the growth of the Law Center. The Board consists of more than 50 lawyers and non-lawyers who are regional and national leaders in the legal profession the business philanthropic and academic communities. F or the second consecutive summer Touro Law students participated in the Board of Governors Summer Associates Program. The Program initiated by Board member John Bishar enables Touro Law students to be more competitive in the legal marketplace by gaining valuable hands-on experience while in law school. Through the Summer Associates Program board members commit to a ten week paid summer associate. Students apply to be summer associates and are selected with an effort to match student interest and employee needs. To date nearly two dozen students and firms have participated in this ten week program. Nearly two dozen students and firms have participated in this 10 week summer internship program.
