WWW.T OUROL AW.E DU 35 New Assistant Dean for Career Services Jim Montes Esq. was appointed Assistant Dean for Career Services at Touro Law Center. Having been a partner at the global law firm Nixon Peabody LLP he remains an active member of the legal community while overseeing the delivery of quality career services for both students and alumni. Erica Edwards ONeal Appointed as Director of Diversity and Inclusion Erica Edwards- ONeal has been appointed Director of Diversity and Inclusion. In her new role she is providing leadership and training on matters relating to valuing diversity and cultural competence and she is assisting the dean in guiding the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan focused on embedding effective diversity and inclusion practices for the law school. Edwards-ONeal will continue in her role as Senior Director of Career Services as well. STAFF ON THE MOVE Joan Clay Hired as Practitioner in Residence for Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic Joan Clay was hired as the Practitioner in Residence for the Mortgage and Foreclosure Clinic. She is teaching supervising and mentoring students in the Mortgage Foreclosure Clinic as they provide representation to Suffolk County homeowners facing foreclosure of their primary residences. Melissa Luckman Working as Staff Attorney in the Disaster Relief Clinic Melissa H. Luckman is working as a staff attorney in the Disaster Relief Clinic. She was born and raised in New York New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Long Island University in 2006 with PSI CHI Honors and her Juris Doctor degree from Touro Colleges Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2010. Cynara Hermes McQuilllan Hired as Assistant Director of Bar Programs and Academic Development Cynara Hermes McQuillan was appointed as the Assistant Director of Bar Programs and Academic Development. In this role McQuillan works with students on an individual basis coordinates and provides skills training workshops develops student learning materials coordinates and teaches bar-preparation programs and implements new services relevant to enhancing the academic experience for Touro Law students.
