Marger89 Scholarship Judge Sol Wachtler Veterans Scholarship Fund Mario and Lina Capobianco Scholarship Meltzer Lippe Goodstein Breitstone LLP Scholarship Posner Gaier85 Scholarship The Rivkin Radler Scholarship Stephanie Estevez 00 Memorial Scholarship The Tsunis Family Scholarship Fundraising for our Disaster Relief Clinic continues to be successful with a 75000 grant from the Robin Hood Foundation. The Aging and Longevity Law Institute continues to operate with the help of a generous 500000 commitment from Robert Abrams co-founder and an executive partner of Abrams Fensterman Fensterman Eisman Formato Ferrara Wolf LLP. A 100000 grant from the Unitarian Universalist Veatch Program to fund our Immigration Clinic has enabled us to provide legal representation to unaccompanied minors related to their legal status under the Immigration Naturalization Act. Our Liberty Justice Dinner raised close to 200000 and honored builders and community leaders. This FY we again received more than 100000 in federal funding for the Veterans and Servicemembers Clinic. Government grants for Bankruptcy and Mortgage Foreclosure Senior Citizen Programs and Family Law continue to allow Touro Law to serve the community while educating the next generation of lawyers who will form the base of our local bar and bench for many years to come. Two years ago the Class of 2013 in a first-time program raised approximately 1500 for a Class Gift with a giving percentage of 33. Last year the class of 2014 raised close to 2500 for a Class Gift with a participation rate of 63.24 and in FY 2014-2015 the Class of 2015 has raised more than 3000 with a participation rate of 70. This shows remarkable student leadership and bodes well for our future. Dear Friends We are extremely proud of the fact that in the past three years Touro Law has raised more than 11.3 million in new gifts pledges and bequest commitments from all sources.These funds include dollars raised for endowed chairs programs scholarships and so much more. Fiscal Year 2014-15 highlights include more than 3.3M in gifts from a variety of sources including individuals corporations foundations and the public sector with grants from the Federal Government the State Government and Suffolk County.
