Carina is a 2012 graduate of Touro Law Center where she was a teaching assistant for LEAP and the Writing Center. After law school, she pursued her passion for travel, journeying to Greece, Hong Kong, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey before returning home to the State of Washington to work at Seattle Pacific University as a graduate school program coordinator and as an attorney at Chou Law Office where she practiced immigration law. Her interest in immigration law arose from being a child of immigrants (father from Hong Kong, maternal grandparents from China) and wanting to help marginalized and underrepresented communities. Outside of work, a few things that Carina enjoys are discussing environmental issues, salsa dancing, and snowshoeing.
