Gould Law Library Hires Isaac Samuels

Touro Law Center is pleased to announce Isaac Samuels ’09 has been hired as the Gould Library Educational Technology Specialist/Reference Librarian, beginning July 16, 2012.

“We are so pleased to have Isaac join our team,” said April Schwartz, Director of the Gould Law Library. “He is very talented and brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the position.”

Isaac graduated with honors in Classics from the State University of New York at Albany in 2005 and received his paralegal studies certificate in 2006. Then, as a Touro Law student he worked as a legal intern for Leeds Morelli & Brown, as well as a judicial intern for both the Honorable Denis R. Hurley, United States District Court E.D.N.Y. and the Honorable Joseph C. Pastoressa, Suffolk County Supreme Court, Central Islip. Isaac graduated summa cum laude from Touro Law Center where he was a Notes and Comments editor for the Touro Law Review, won many CALI awards, the ABA/BNA Graduation award, and the Excellence in Labor and Employment Law award. He then practiced as a law clerk, associate attorney, and attorney of counsel for Leeds Morelli & Brown P.C. He is a member of the Nassau County and Suffolk County Bar Associations and was admitted to the New York State Bar Second Department and the United States District Courts for the Southern & Eastern Districts of New York. Isaac will graduate from St. John’s University with a Master of Library and Information Science degree in May 2013.
