Gould Law Library Welcomes New Library Faculty Member

Lisa Parisi Named New Head of Public Services and Foreign and International Law

Central Islip, NY – Touro Law Center’s Gould Law Library welcomes Lisa Parisi as the Head of Public Services and Foreign and International Law Librarian. Ms. Parisi will manage the Reference and Circulation Departments, coordinate the library’s research instruction program and oversee the library’s faculty services responsibilities. In addition, she will be in charge of collection development for the foreign and international collection and teach foreign and international legal research.

Ms. Parisi received her J.D. from Temple University School of Law, her Masters of Information Science from Florida State University, and her B.A. in International Relations from the University of Delaware. She is a member of the Florida Bar. She practiced as an attorney-at-law in the areas of probate, elder law and guardianship. Prior to joining Touro Law, she was a reference librarian specializing in foreign, comparative and international law at Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. She taught modules on practice materials, Florida law, international law, international environmental law, and foreign and comparative legal research. She has also taught many research workshops on secondary sources, case law, federal and state statutes, administrative law and legislative history research.
