Our Disaster Relief Clinic Director Ben Rajotte and students together with Dean Patricia Salkin and Senator Schumer are advocating for victims of Superstorm Sandy.
Touro Law Center Dean Patricia Salkin and Professor Benjamin Rajotte of the Disaster Law Clinic together with U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer called on FEMA at a press conference on October 22, 2013 to issue a clear and immediate ruling that extends the statute of limitations for Sandy victims to challenge their insurance companies in court for shortchanging them on an award amount.
