Congratulations to the Law Center Black Law Students Association (BLSA) team of Marium Sulaiman and Cynthia Ramos, who made the semi-finals of the Northeast Regional Round of the National Black Law Students Association Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition held this past weekend in Albany, NY, beating out teams from Harvard, NYU, Vermont, New York Law School, Hofstra, among others.
Congratulations also to faculty coach Professor Tracy Norton, student coach Jazmine Kendrick; and special thanks to Professor Sam Levine and Adjunct Professor Judge Mark Cohen, who helped with the substantive law, and to the two outstanding members of the Moot Court Honor Society, Meghna Kumar and Nico Pizzo, for their help with mooting.
