This course provides a two-semester study of the general scope of the legal protection given to contracts. Coverage includes the formation of contracts, mistake, statute of frauds, parole evidence rule, commercial impracticability, misrepresentation, illegality, contract interpretation, economic duress, conditions, breach of contract, damages and other remedies, third-party beneficiaries, assignments, and delegations of contractual duties.
