Juris Doctor

Touro Law offers full-time, part-time day, and part-time 4 and 5-year evening programs as well as a two-year accelerated program for students seeking to earn a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, which is awarded upon successful completion of 88 credits.  Beyond the required coursework, students may create their own unique law school experience, choosing from a curriculum that includes an extensive array of practice-oriented offerings and opportunities for hands-on learning – including clinics, skills courses and externships.

Touro Law Center’s five-year strategic plan, Portals to Practice, is a cutting-edge program that reconceives and restructures the law school
experience for all Touro Law students. Portals to Practice expands the scope and quality of legal education by focusing on the development of legal professionals, from pre-law through post-graduation.
