  • 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM

Location

Description
Professor Richard Klein will be moderating a discussion which will begin with an overview of issues we hope to discuss in this Town Hall setting. Student leaders from various organizations will present short statements, and then we will open it up to anyone in attendance who wishes to speak on matters such as President Trump's reaction to the White Supremacist marchers in Virginia, threats posed by a possible resurgence in our country of Neo-Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan, whether and which statues should be taken down (Christopher Columbus in New York City, Former Chief Judge of the Supreme Court, Roger Taney, who authored the Dred Scott decision), and the special responsibilities of law students and lawyers in times such as these.
