Touro Law to Host Annual Golf Outing Honoring LI Ducks Principal Owner and CEO Frank Boulton

July 15, 2009

Central Islip, NY – Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center is preparing for the Seventh Annual Susan M. Dietrich Clyne ’88 Memorial Golf Outing to be held on Monday, August 10 at the Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack, New York. The popular event honors the memory of the 1988 Touro graduate, tragically lost in the World Trade Center attacks on September 11, 2001. Event proceeds benefit the Susan M. Dietrich Clyne Memorial Scholarship Fund. This year’s event will honor principal owner and CEO of the Long Island Ducks Frank Boulton, and will feature special golfing guests including former New York Met Bud Harrelson and other members of the Long Island Ducks.

“This event is always a fun day for our alumni and friends, a beautiful commemoration of our alumna Susan Dietrich Clyne and a great way to honor our friends and neighbors the Long Island Ducks,” said Lawrence Raful, Dean of Touro Law Center. “We know that in these economic times, golf outings are a luxury. However, we value this outing and the scholarship monies it raises. We know our dedicated Touro Law alumni and family value the outing as well.”

This year’s outing features a special “Beat Buddy” contest with Bud Harrelson of the 1969 New York Mets challenging golfers on a par-3 for prizes.

Boulton is in his tenth season as founder and CEO of the Long Island Ducks, Baseball America’s 2007 Organization of the Year. Frank has also owned three other farm teams, two affiliated with the New York Yankees and the other with the Kansas City Royals. He has also owned the Long Island Rough Riders professional soccer team, 2002 D3 National Champions. Boulton was born on Long Island and, together with his wife Karen, is involved in many local charities.
