Bagels with the Boards presented by Touro Law Center's Land Use & Sustainable Development Law Institute
 
This presentation will review strategies and best practices for developing a clear, comprehensive, and enforceable solar regulatory framework. The presentation will present sample provisions for permitted uses, dimensional standards, development standards and definitions. In addition, optional provisions, such as solar access and solar ready home requirements will be reviewed. Policymakers who attend will be eligible to receive complementary one-on-one technical support in designing and implementing smart solar policy in their local jurisdiction. Policymakers who attend the Solar Energy program will be eligible to receive complementary one-on-one technical support in designing and implementing smart solar policy in their local jurisdiction.
 
Each program is certified for 1 CLE credit (Professional Practice) and has certification pending for 1 AICP-CM Credit (Law for the May 29 program; general for the June – program).
 
The cost for each program is $15 per person, including materials, and continental breakfast. Members of sponsor organizations including the Metro New York Chapter of the American Planning Association are eligible for a discounted rate of $10.
