Biography
Lewis M. Wasserman is the founding partner of Wasserman Steen LLP, a Patchogue, NY firm specializing in public school law and public sector employment law. Over the last twenty-plus years, he has handled an extensive array of federal litigation vindicating the rights of school children and school employees with disabilities who were the victims of discrimination. Before beginning his legal career, he was a school psychologist and senior school administrator. He holds B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees, all in psychology, from Hofstra, and earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law.
