Employment Summary Information

Touro Law's employment statistics for the Class of 2022 increased slightly (0.5%) over the Class of 2021. The employment statistics for the Class of 2022, as reported to the ABA, shows an overall employment rate of 89.2%, ten months after graduation. This increase is in spite of the Class of 2022 being 18.8% larger than the Class of 2021 and represents the second consecutive year-over-year increase in total employment. Additionally, 73.4% of our graduates reported working in full-time, long-term jobs requiring admission to the Bar or for which having a JD is an advantage.

The Class of 2022 found employment in all areas of the law and in a wide range of businesses. The largest job category for our graduates continues to be law firms (47.9%). This category is followed by employment in government (30.4%; including district attorney offices (9.2%), judicial clerkships (8.5%) and government other (12.7%)), business and industry (19.7%), and finally public interest (2.1%).
