Biography
Peter Ausili is Chief Law Clerk, Chambers of Senior Judge Leonard D. Wexler, United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. In that capacity, he assists Judge Wexler in managing the Alfonse D’Amato United States Courthouse in Central Islip, the second largest federal courthouse in the nation. He also assists during trials and hearings, and performs research on issues of federal law and procedure that come before Judge Wexler. A graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, he has also written and lectured widely on constitutional law and federal procedure.
