Before joining Touro as Head of Public Services in 1988, Beth Mobley held positions at the University of Alabama Law Library, the Tarlton Law Library at the University of Texas, Duke University Law Library, the University of Bridgeport Law Library, and CUNY Law School Library. She also spent several years as the national librarian of the Legal Services Corporation.
Her responsibilities in the Gould Law Library include collection development, the Judaica Collection, Rare Books, and Archives. She curates library exhibits, manages the Lillie Goldstein Collection, and produces the annual Lillie Goldstein Judaica Collection bibliography. In addition, she occasionally teaches legal research, prepares research guides, and works on special projects for faculty.
She is a member of the Law Library Association of Greater New York, the Law Librarians of New England, the American Association of Law Libraries, and the American Library Association.
