Biography
James F. Quinn was elected to Suffolk County Court in 2008. He is currently serving as an Acting Family Court Justice. Before his election to the bench, he was the Managing Partner of the Lindenhurst, NY firm Phillips, Weiner, Quinn, Artura & Cox, where he spent 24 years representing thousands of clients from simple business transactions to felony trials to the sale and merger of a multi-million dollar company. Judge Quinn has tried personal injury cases from inception through conclusion; litigated Family Court cases on issues of neglect, custody, support; tried divorce cases; tried complex commercial cases, and has represented profit and not-for-profit corporations. He earned a B.S. in Geology from St. John's University, and received his J.D. from the Washburn University School of Law.
