Biography
Admitted to the bar of New York. Professor Swartz worked with Camden Legal Services in New Jersey and as a clinical instructor at New York University School of Law, before joining Touro Law Center’s faculty. A former consultant to the World Health Organization, Professor Swartz lectures at Columbia University School of Public Health and is the author of several articles on health law and family law. She has written also about criminal practice and appears frequently as a commentator on criminal cases on Court TV. Professor Swartz is interested in mediation and is co-director of a professional training program that offers certification in family mediation to lawyers and non-lawyers.
