Foreign & International Legal Research - LAW623

The course exposes students to the basic knwledge and skills necessary to conduct research in foreign and international law. Topics covered include common law jurisdictions (Australia, Canada, and U.K.); civil law, mixed, and religious jurisdictions (Africa, Asia, Continental Europe, Latin America, and Middle East); organizations and tribunals (U.N., E.U., W.T.O., and various crimial courts): and U.S. practice in international law. (Prerequisites: Legal Process I & II.)
