The Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree program
at the Law Center combines an innovative, enriching curriculum with flexible scheduling to meet the diverse needs of qualified candidates.
Regular 3-Year J.D. Program – Students in these programs take a course load totaling 12-16 credits per semester and attend classes on weekdays. Most full-time students complete the J.D. program within 3 years, but may accelerate to 2 ½ years by attending summer sessions. Classes begin in spring and fall every year.
Two-Year Accelerated J.D. Program
– In addition to attending classes during the fall and spring semesters, students in this program will also take classes in the winter and summer sessions. Students selected for this program will complete all requirements for the J.D. degree during a concentrated and rigorous 24-month period. This program will make it possible for graduates to sit for a Bar Examination only 26 months after they begin their law school. In-person interviews may be required.

Five-Year Part-Time Evening program - Students are guaranteed a three evenings/week schedule for the first year (6:30 p.m. to around 10:00 p.m.).
Students in part-time programs may also accelerate completion by attending summer sessions.
