Touro Law Adds More Than $200,000 in Student Scholarship Support

New Scholarships Bring 2 Year Scholarship Total to Over $1.5 Million

Touro Law Center Dean Patricia Salkin is pleased to announce several new named and endowed scholarships for students including the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Scholarship funded by the Heart of Bethpage Charitable Giving Program, the Mario and Lina Capobianco Scholarship funded by the Capobianco family, the Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone, LLP Scholarship, the Posner & Gaier Scholarship, and the Stephanie Estevez ’00 Memorial Scholarship. Additionally, a new $100,000 scholarship has been established from the Claire and Samuel Mozel Charitable Trust. These scholarships, totaling $225,000, will be awarded to students based on individual criteria set by the donors.

“Our fiscal year has just ended and it’s exciting to announce so many new scholarships that will directly benefit our students,” said Dean Patricia Salkin. “Touro Law’s alumni and friends are dedicated to our law school and have directed their donations to directly benefit students through the creation of these scholarships. We are thankful to each and every person that has given generously to help our students.”
