Regional Alumni Receptions
Can’t make it back to campus? Touro Law Center may be coming to your neighborhood. Every year, The Alumni Office plans a few regional visits. In fact, thanks to the generosity of our alumni, we have been able to host receptions in Toronto (Andrew Bockner ’00), New Jersey (Rick Sanders ’86 and Connie Corsentino ’01) and Florida (Bruce K. Gould ‘84; Florence Hessen '85; Matthew Maschler '97 and Jeff Starr '86). We have also visited with alumni in San Diego and Los Angeles as well as hosted receptions in Washington DC and Westchester.
In February, 2013, an Alumni Reception was held in Albany - a special thank you to honored guests Senators Joseph Addabbo '92; John Flanagan '90; Kenneth LaValle '87 and Assemblyman Al Graf '02 for attending the reception held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the New York State Bar Association in Albany.
Most recently, an alumni reception was held in Newark, NJ at the firm of Genova Burns Giantomasi & Webster under the leadership of alums Dina Mastellone '98 and Peter Valenzano '10.
Our next Regional Alumni Reception is scheduled for Sunday, June 9, 2013 in Washington, D.C.

By serving as a regional alumni representative and working with The Alumni Office, you can help us coordinate a visit to your area. We also encourage alumni from regions throughout the country to join us in hosting receptions to welcome prospective and incoming students to the law school community. By hosting regional receptions and visiting with alumni in different areas of the country, our goal is to strengthen the connection among alumni and between alumni and Touro Law Center.
If you currently reside out of the New York area and are interested in helping to host and/or coordinate an alumni visit or reception, please contact Kristin Matthews, Director of Development & Alumni Relations at 631.761.7063 or via e-mail.
