Touro Law Center Spring 2012-2013 Academic Calendar

N.B. This is a fourteen (14) week semester with 50 minute class periods.
N.B. The Law Center is closed on Friday evening and all day Saturday in observance of the Jewish Sabbath.

This academic calendar is subject to change due to inclement weather, emergencies or special programs.

January 16
1L Workshop: Spring 2012 Federal Court Observation Program Information Join Professor Lynne Kramer for part two of the introduction to the Court Observation Program. Students will visit the Federal Courts this term, which is very different than the State Courts, so you must attend this session. Professor Kramer will visit the evening students during class to provide an introduction to the program.

1L Workshop: Career Essentials Friday, January 18, Section C – 9:30-10:30 a.m. and Sections A & B – 12:30-1:30 p.m., FCR/BDR .  Join the Career Services Office to learn about the things you need to start doing NOW to increase your opportunities for post-graduate employment.

Dean Taylor to learn about all of the opportunities AFTER 1st year, including clinics, externships, study abroad, summer classes, course planning and registration for electives and more. There is a 5:30 p.m. session as well in Room 210. Lunch and Dinner will be provided for these sessions – please pick one to attend.

Dean Taylor to learn about all of the opportunities AFTER 1st year, including clinics, externships, study abroad, summer classes, course planning and registration for electives and more.  Lunch and Dinner will be provided for these sessions – please pick ONE to attend, 12:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.
