| Touro Law Center offers a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in U.S. Legal Studies for graduates of accredited law schools outside the United States. Students can choose from a variety of courses taught by distinguished full-time faculty—who bring experience from the bench, major law firms, government agencies, and advocacy groups—as well as adjunct faculty, including sitting judges, senior public officials, and renowned practitioners.
As part of its commitment to foreign-trained law graduates, Touro provides free academic support as wanted: students may participate in the Profesional Development Program, and, for those for whom English is not their first language, there is English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction through the Writing Resources Center.
The LL.M. comprises 27 credits, which may be completed full time or part time in the day or evening, commencing in the fall semester of each year. In addition to the prestige of such a degree, the program provides students with the required credits to be eligible to sit for the New York bar examination.
