Myra Berman

Biography
Professor Berman attended Touro Law Center part-time while working as a senior executive of a not-for-profit family and social services agency. Before attending law school, she was a State‑ Licensed Social Worker, primarily in the practice of Child Welfare, and a teacher at SUNY-Stony Brook, Hofstra University, and Brooklyn College. In addition to her work at the law center, she is associated with the Safe Horizon Domestic Violence Law Project where she is involved in pro bono work with victims of intimate partner violence. Professor Berman, the co-director of the Touro Bar Preparation program, is actively engaged in all aspects of student preparation for the bar examination.
