Fay and Saul Starr Fellowship Recipient Announced
August 22, 2012Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center is pleased to announce that Stefan Josephs is the recipient of the Fay and Saul Starr Fellowship for the 2012-2013 academic year. This prestigious scholarship is awarded to one full-time student who is ranked in the top 5% of the class at the beginning of their second-year.
Stefan Josephs received his B.A. from Stony Brook University. He plans to graduate from Touro Law in 2014 and will pursue a career in surrogate court litigation, tax law and trust, probate and estate tax law. Upon receiving this fellowship, Stefan said, “I am grateful for the generosity of the Fischtein family and plan to make the most of this great opportunity.” Stefan is currently a staff member of the Touro Law Review, Federalist Society, Student Disaster Relief Network, Business Law Society and the Sports, Arts and Entertainment Law Society. He resides in Setauket, NY.
The Fischtein family, who endowed this scholarship, has long been generous supporters and good friends of the Law Center. Touro Law offers fellowships, scholarships and incentive awards to incoming students as well as returning students, based on academic achievements.
