New Gould Law Librarians Named at Touro Law

Central Islip, NY – Touro Law Center’s Gould Law Library welcomes Irene Crisci, Reference Librarian and Digital Archivist and Laura Ross, Reference Librarian and Gould Law Library Webmaster.

Ms. Crisci will be responsible, in collaboration with the faculty, for the continued development of our Bepress digital archives collection, in addition to her regular duties as a member of the reference team. She is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, admitted to the New York Bar. She was a New York attorney-at-law in private practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, real estate, and corporate and partnership law. She received her Master of Library Science degree from the Palmer School of Library Science, Long Island University, C. W. Post Campus. She is also an adjunct professor at Saint Joseph’s College Library.

Ms. Ross will edit and maintain the Gould Law Library website, as well to serve as a general legal research reference librarian. Ms. Ross is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School, admitted to the New York and New Jersey Bars. She served as an attorney for the Legal Support Unit, Legal Services of New York City, working in the area of Housing. She will receive her Master of Library Science and Information degree from St. John’s University in January, 2010.
