Please note, the Federal Government and Government Publishing Office have shifted toward the publication of online resources, and many Federal depository library’s tangible collections reflect that shift. In August of 2014, GPO revised the Legal Requirements and Program Regulations of the Federal Depository Library Program, allowing FDLP Libraries to create a depository collection that is entirely comprised of online resources. The Gould Law Library is transitioning to an online collection and suggests viewing the following guides for assistance.

The FDLP Basic Collection guide, developed by the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP), is intended to ensure public access to essential information produced by the Federal Government. It comprises a curated list of titles, each accompanied by descriptive content and contextual background on the FDLP. These authoritative resources uphold the public’s right to be informed about the functions and operations of the federal government. The contents of the collection are subject to periodic revision by the government.
