Continuing Orientation Schedule Announced

Central Islip, NY – Touro Law Center’s Office of Student Services plans continuing orientation for first year students to ensure they are well acclimated to the law school environment. Below is the schedule for this year’s class. Any questions or comments should be directed to Charlotte Taylor, Assistant Dean for Student Services at ctaylor@tourolaw.edu or (631) 761-7050.

Orientation begins on August 15 and lasts throughout your first semester of law school. Please plan to attend the Continuing Orientation sessions listed below. CHECK OUT THE NEW DATES FOR SOME SESSIONS BELOW. All sessions will be videotaped so if you need to miss a session, visit TLCWeb to watch the video afterwards.


Wednesday, September 15, 5:30-6:25 p.m.
IRAC and Time Management. Join Professor Suzanne Darrow-Kleinhaus for a session on learning IRAC, as well as managing your time effectively.

Monday*, September 27, 5:30 to 6:25 p.m., Auditorium (*follows a Wednesday schedule)
Everything You Need to Know From the Registrar! This session, hosted by Registrar Paula Kutch, includes information on your student ID, the grade curve, the grading process, registration, etc.

Outlining (in law school). Join Professor Suzanne Darrow-Kleinhaus for a session on learning how to make an outline for law school to study for final exams.
