Richard Hooks Wayman, the National Executive Director of the Children's Defense Fund, will be Touro Law Center’s 2017 Distinguished Public Interest Lawyer in Residence, on Thursday and Friday, October 19-20, 2017. 
 
Thursday, October 19
9:00 am- Breakfast with Student Leaders (ABR)
10:30 am - Roundtable Discussion to Introduce Touro’s New Children’s Clinic and to        Discuss its Development and Holistic Approach (ABR)
12:30 pm - Faculty Lunch (ABR)
1:30 pm - Meet with Dean Harry Ballan 
3:00 pm - PAC and Clinics – Tour and meeting with students and tenants

9:00 am - Keynote Speaker – 29th Annual Keys for the Homeless Conference, “Breaking       Down Barriers: Serving Our Most Vulnerable” – Introduced by Thomas Malign (Auditorium)*
 
*This conference is free of charge for Touro Law students interested in participating.
